reflection post vance

This quarter was possibly my most favorite quarter to blog about, mostly because of all of the cool things that we have been doing this quarter. Some examples are: bodies reviled and the dissection of the hearts. Despite all of this I have had some difficulties in blogging. of all problems that I have had, the hardest to overcome was getting my posts and comments done on time or at all ( as you can see because this post is one day late).

Refelction post

I really enjoyed blogging this quarter. I liked that we were allowed to see the other class's blogs. I did not really enjoy the part that every week we had to comment on the blog. Also, I did not like the part that we had to comment on all 3 blogs. I liked seeing what the other class's were doing in class and I learned from them too. Overall I will do this again next year.

Reflection Post Reza

I thought overall that this quarter's blogging was the best and most fun one yet. But there was one part of it that I thought was a little bit hard. I think that the hardest part of blogging was the commenter posts. I think this because it was frequent and we had to do it every week. Another part of blogging this quarter's blogging I didnt like is commenting to other classes. I didnt like it because of the fact that will either learn it or we learned it. Overall though it was a very fun project.

Reflection post

I think that the whole blogging concept is very helpful for learning and getting used to using technology. Some things I did not really like were that, we had to comment on a blog post every week. Another thing I did not like was that, we had to include how we use what we learned in class in every day life. I really liked that we were allowed to comment on all three middle school blogs. It was a great time to see how and what other people are learning. I really enjoyed this project and hope its going to be even better next year.

End of Year: Reflection Post

In this post I will share my feelings on blogging.

Overall, I think it was a really cool project. (Even tough I didn't like the comment every week part.) I loved reading what other people have to say on the subject we had been learning. I also really liked reading what the other grades were doing. But the best part was learning these different things. For me, "these different things" included learning how to embed a link and upload a picture. I would totally do this again and can't wait to read next-year's blogs!
However, there were some down-sides. One of them was the comment per week. Actually, that wasn't the bad part. The part I didn't like was having to have specific amounts of comments to each blog. I always forgot which blog I had commented to, and I think it would've been easier just to have to have 9 comments, at least one to each blog.
And here are some things I think should happen next year!
1. Change the background each quarter! The background on our blog, after 3 quarters, is kind of boring. Changing the colors could be really fun!
2. Scribes should definitely be in touch with other schools! It would be so much fun to be able to see what other science classes around the world are doing!
3. Have a quick "reminder" lesson each quarter on how to add pictures, links, videos to a blog post at the beginning of each quarter so the less "tech-savvy" people could still have really cool posts!
In conclusion, I really liked blogging and can't wait to see how next year's blogs look!

Alix's reflection post

I think that we shouldn't do this project again. It eventually became a hassle. We had to write reviews on the exact same thing we had just learned. The problem with blogging was that it was slightly irritating. It was easy to comment, but difficult to blog, because there wasn't much stuff to talk about to make a blog post that was more than 2 paragraphs. There was also the fact that you would have to check the blog everyday to know if you were the one blogging (Though I must admit, I personally depended on friends for that). I also didn't like the fact that although it was started off to replace our Moodle, it didn't help us with worksheets or study notes, since it only (occasionaly) gave links to the assignments on Moodle. I did like the fact that it let me see what the 8th and 6th graders were doing. All in all, this is not something I'd like to do again.

Reflection post

Throughout this three-quarter long blogging assignment I enjoyed being able to read other peoples point of view of the class. I however didn't like the fact fact that whenever I tried to post something it came out wrong somehow. For example the font was smaller in a certain part. I looked perfect in compose but when I published it came out wrong. I found out it was because of a code error in the HTML part. Also most times when I tried to publish something a message came up saying I couldn't publish there was the word META in my code. When I went to the code I found lines and lines of useless code and it was there where this meta was. I found this the most difficult and unlikeable part about blogging. The thing I found the easiest was summarizing the class. I believe that the use of technology was helpful in the class but the technology could be better.
