Hello Seventh Grade!!!
On Tuesday Ms. D reminded us that we only have three weeks left for blogging, so everyone has to make sure they are ontop of their comments. All blog entries must be completed by April 1st at 4 p.m. Don't forget that you have to post two comments on the seventh grade blog, one on the eight grade blog, and one on the Canadian blog!
Next, we had a couple minutes to prepare for our presentations on the six simple machines! We went through every machine exept for the pulley. During the presentations, the students that were watching had to take notes!!!
After the presentations, Ms. D let us know that there is quiz coming! The quiz is going to be on work, power and simple machines, so don't forget to study and brush up on your formulas!
Toward the end of the class, we got our homework assignment, which is random science question number eight. We have to find out who invented the zipper, and write the answer in our lab notebook!
Bellow you can find a video about simple machines. Instead of width the creator of the movie calls it "thickness". I hope it helps you understand the simple machines!

Good post. It summarizes everything we did in class but you could work on the grammar a bit and in some areas you could have gone into detail more
ReplyDeleteNice post and the video was helpful, but it didn't talk about Mechanical Advantage or Input and Output Force, which I would've liked to learn a bit more on your post. But, otherwise i loved the different colors for each paragraph which makes it really easy to read!
ReplyDeleteFabi - Your post is short and to the point. Interesting link to the video on Youtube - but I am not sure how helpful it truly is. It's all words and not ones we all use in 7th grade science - I think you could have found something a bit more interesting and appropriate for our class. Your paragraphs look good, the font is clear and your sentence structure is easy to follow. Next time focus a bit more on including more science that we talk about. Not bad overall!!!!

ReplyDeleteSo overall I like your scribe post. It was very neat and tidy. However, you might want to reread your writing again because there are several places with grammatical errors. Also you could write more about the presentation so it might help other people understand what they learned during class.
