Today, in science, we started something completely unorthodox, but very fun. We created superheros on this site: http://www.ugo.com/channels/comics/heromachine2/heroMachine2.asp
This is a very easy site to use and has thousands of combinations. In a couple of minutes, you can bang out a character. The lab was to make a science superhero with 5 powers, and to make him save the day with four of them. This was a really great class.
The next scribe is Laura.

Hey Alix,
ReplyDeleteI think that it is cool that you told us about the five powers and how to do the upcoming project. I also believe that your use of print screen was also good. The one thing I think you could have done better was the colors and the fonts. You also could have made the picture bigger. Overall I believe that this was a short and to the point blog post.(note: that means it is good to me)
I thought that your blog post was great! First of all, I loved that you told us about the project and that you showed us the page with your super hero. I think that was a great idea! I also like that you gave the site URL. If someone would have missed out this class, they would find your post helpful!
ReplyDeleteHey Alix,
ReplyDeleteeven if there wasn't a lot of things to say about Thursday's lesson, you said everything, I think this was a great scribe post! As Fabi said, the picture and the link were very helpful. One thing you could improve maybe was the font color, as Reza said. But I still think it was a good post!
Alix - I do like what you have written here and that you have included a screen shot of this website to make the Superheros. But you haven't really discussed the science behind what we are doing. The science superpowers and what they should be focused on, how the science superhero needs to save the day. You could have gone further. Plus, your labels are incomplete. Please read all directions next time. Your writing is thorough, clear and understandable. Good work!
ReplyDeleteAlix I really liked your post. It was nice that you mentioned it was fun. It was nice that you put a picture of the website. You should have said the 4 things your superhero could do to save the day. Overall I liked you post.
