Science Class on the 4th of February, 2010

Hey Everyone,
Yesterday we started our balloon rocket projects. Don't forget that this is a competition. There are three categories that we should try to go for. They are the fastest, the farthest, and the balloon that can go and come back in the opposite direction. On Tuesday we will be continuing this Challenge.
The pairs are (in case you forgot):
Reza, Bryce, and Viktor
Alix, Vance, and Cip
Laura, Antonia, and Iva
Fabi, Emilie, and Giovanna
Noam, Erik, and Kat
Something we did in class was that we checked the momentum math sheet #2. Momentum math sheet 2 was a sheet that you could have used the text book.
Don't forget we have a quest next Thursday. It is on forces NOT motion.
The next scribe is Vance

  1. Hey Reza, I really liked your blog post. Especially because you used many different colors and your font was legible and easy to read. Just one thing you could have written were the questions to the momentum math sheet #2. You could have also written down the answers as well. Or you could have posted/added the link to the momentum math sheet which was on moodle. All in all I think that absent students could catch up in class if they would read your scribe post!

  2. I think this would be a very helpful post to anyone who wasn't here, but there were several things to improve on. First, of all, you could have made the photo of the homework bigger, or as Iva commented, you could have posted the link to Moodle. Second of all, you wrote pairs, when every group had three people. That's pretty much it. Thanks for listening!

  3. Reza, first of you forgot to write your name in the tags...Second, as the people before me have said, you should have included the aswers to Momentum Math Sheet 2, for us who weren't there.
You could have also added an empty line between paragraphs to make it easier. But it was pretty good!

  4. Nice post! Hi, I'm Elaine, a student from Sargent Park. Your post was neat and easy to understand. I like how you added pictures and the variety of colours made your post pop.

  5. Hello. I'm Sierra from Sargent Park School. I enjoyed how you used several different colours in your fonts. Your font was big enough for others to read. One thing you could have improved on was your pictures, you could have resized them to make them bigger, and easier to read. Overall, awesome job!

  9. Reza - This post looks good. I am in agreement with many of your commenters about the math page. Font size and color enhances what you have written and too bad the jing did not work again. I also agree that some of the math problems could have been written out with the answers so people understand what we were doing. Finally, you haven't used much science in this Scribe Post - somewhere it would have been helpful to explain the Balloon Rockets were using Newton's 3rd Law. Not bad - but go more in depth next time and watch your layout more closely.
