Refelction post
I really enjoyed blogging this quarter. I liked that we were allowed to see the other class's blogs. I did not really enjoy the part that every week we had to comment on the blog. Also, I did not like the part that we had to comment on all 3 blogs. I liked seeing what the other class's were doing in class and I learned from them too. Overall I will do this again next year.

Bodies Reveald
Hi you are currently looking at my blog post about my class’s field trip.
The seventh grade class of AISZ went to an amazing trip to Bodies Revealed. It was related to our science class because next we are going into the human body. The expedition showed us people’s bones, mussels, nerves, lungs, brain, heart, kidney and much more. In my opinion, the coolest thing that we saw was unborn babies in tubes. It showed us how the baby looks like inside his mom’s belly. Another really cool thing we saw was the blood vessels of the hu
man body.
DID YOU KNOW?! If we stretch our blood vessels we will have 100,000 miles of them!
NOW YOU KNOW!
We went into a room about smoking and saw what a healthy lung and a smoker’s lung. In that room, there was a box and a sign that said that smoking kills and that they what the smokers to live longer. It also said to through away your cigarettes into the box.
DID YOU KNOW?! Every cigarette takes 3 hours and 40 seconds of your life!
NOW YOU KNOW!
The brain w
as nice to see because they cut the brains into strips to show us the difference.
DID YOU KNW?! A woman’s brain is 2.5% of their body’s weight but a man’s is only 2%!
KNOW YOU KNOW!
The man who started the expedition said this quote:
"Why all this interest in the human body? The answer to this question seem quite clear to me: your body is the only thing you carry with you from the moment you are born until your very last breath.”
- Dr. Roy Glover, Medical Director.
Overall this was a very fun and I think most people will do it again!
Don’t forget to email Ms. D. about the trip by Tuesday.

Noam's Reflection Post

I liked this quarter blogging because we got to look at the Canadian blogs. I liked the blogging and the idea of putting a quote on what we learned. I had trouble (again) with the length of the blog post. I really enjoyed the Canadian blogs because we got to see kids our age blogging about their math class. I had some trouble finding the 8th grade blog address. Overall I liked this blogging quarter.

Newton's 3 laws and Momentum

Hello readers of this blog.
On Friday we went over Newton's 3 laws and momentum.
Newton's first law: Newton's first law is Inertia or that an object will do what they do unless a force is acting on it
Newton's second law: Newton's second law is the formula force=mass x accerleration
Newton's third law: Newton's third law is the to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Momentum: momentum=mass x velocity or p=mv
Momentum is the quantity of an object
More velocity = more momentum
"I can calculate the the motion of heavenly objects, but not the madness of people"
-Sir Isaac Newton

Reflection Post
In my opinion, the muddies points while blogging is how to put the information I got into words for the blog. Another thing I did not really enjoy is the 3 miner and 1 major post. I also had trouble with the length of the post. I also did not really like pictures and color of the fonts. Overall I liked blogging and i think we should do it again but with out miner and major comments.

We are going to measure the distance and time of the spaceship and then find out its speed!Get Ready People! Science day is TOMORROW!!
The Next Scribe is.............. BRYCE!! You get to do SCIENCE DAY!!
On Thursday we had science day from 9 to 10. We had grade 1 and grade 2 coming in. They liked the ramp and the pop lab but the blog and prezis about speed and acceleration were a bit confusing. In the evning our parents come in. We showed them our blog and prezis. We also showes them our indiviual presentations.
